Crystal Palace remain interested in AC Milan frontman Fabio Borini.

Its thought the Selhurst Park outfit are monitoring the 28-year-old’s situation at the San Siro in hope of landing the former Liverpool man for free next month.

Borini has failed to take to the field since the end of August, with injury, form and a turbulent relationship with manager Stefan Pioli keeping him out of the side.

“In January, we will attempt to mutually agree to let him play somewhere else,” Borini’s agent Roberto De Fanti said on Radio Rossonera.

"Every coach makes their choices.

"The solutions are not lacking in both Italy and in England.”

With his contract expiring at the end of the season the Eagles are hoping that the unlikelihood of Borini breaking into Pioli’s team would make Milan consider getting him off their wage bill for free next month.

Despite a less than impressive goalscoring record in the Premier League during stints with Liverpool and Sunderland where he averaged one goal every six games, the Eagles are keen to bolster their attacking ranks.
