Charlton may be struggling to raise spirits on the pitch recently but off it there seems to be plenty of Christmas cheer.
Following their 2-2 draw with Hull City on Friday night, a result that halted a four-game losing run, the players it seems held their Christmas party.
Despite a ten-game winless run few would argue Lee Bowyer’s men didn’t deserve a celebration following a turbulent opening half a season where an injury ravaged squad have fought admirably to keep their neck above relegation waters.
A photo emerged on Sunday of some players donning customary fancy dress which has had fans in hysterics.
From Tom Lockyer’s Michael Jackson to Deji Oshilaja’s rather unimpressed expression while dressed as Kermit the Frog, fans were delighted with the light-relief offered after a torrid two months on the field.
Looks as though some of the boys had their Xmas do... Darren Pratley went as what can only be described as a Deliveroo driver.🤣🤣 I’m dead at some of these costumes.😂😂 @TomLockyer as Michael Jackson...😭😭 #cafc pic.twitter.com/3EtEEUBAo4

Maybe it's the strange thing Bowyer was talking about - that's next seasons away kit!

I don't know why but George Lapslie going as a Teletubby couldn't make anymore sense if it tried. Bravo George
