Here’s how the Millwall players rated in their 2-2 draw with Nottingham Forest.

Bartosz Bialkowski 7

So little to do such was the Lions’ dominance in the first half. Made a great stop from Ameobi down low early in the second half.

Mahlon Romeo 6

Got forward at every opportunity and his partnership with Jed Wallace is growing every game. Had a number of efforts when he found space, just needs to work on testing the keeper.

Jake Cooper 5

Snuffed out every Forest attack and made easy picking of the visitor’s creativity in the first half. No one needs to tell him he should’ve buried his chance moments after conceding.

Alex Pearce 5

No risks as you’d expect, alongside Cooper shut up shop well in the first half. His pace was shown up in the second half as Grabban and Adomah were introduced.

Murray Wallace 5

Got forward plenty but the final delivery needs to be better. Defensively solid in the air but lacked the pace to keep up with the Forest in the second half.

Jayson Molumby 7

Quiet game putting out fires. Had a few poor touches in the first half that went unpunished. Upped his game second 45 and made a few telling flicks which set the Lions on the attack.

Shaun Williams 6

Similar to Molumby he set out to spoil the Forest attack and did it with relative ease in the first half before Forest came alive in the second. Playing with confidence and took his goal well.

Ben Thompson 6

Seems to be revelling in a more advanced role. Picked up a booking in the first half which meant there was a snap missing in the tackle in the second 45 as he trod a tightrope with the referee. Should’ve done better with an early header.

Jiri Skalak 6

Full of endeavour but had little reward, just needs a bit of luck. His effort hasn’t gone unnoticed with the Millwall fans and he looks a player eager to impress in his second chance with the club.

Jed Wallace 6
Can attack from anywhere, and that’s sometimes his weakness. Had a warning when he was caught in possession minutes before they conceded the equaliser. Undoubted talent and playing with confidence, but maybe trying too much?

Matt Smith 6

Made a nuisance and won more headers than he lost. Sadly he was isolated and often they fell to Forest shirts. Held the ball up well when he could but the problem is that when Smith plays it forces Millwall into a certain style of play. It may not be pretty, but it works.

Subs:

Tom Bradshaw 5

Held the ball up well but had little in terms of chances

Aiden O’Brien 6

Only one touch of note, and one that mattered.
