Roland Duchatelet has agreed to the sale of Charlton Athletic and fans can't hide their emotions.
The much maligned owner has agreed to the sale of the club to East Street Investments pending approval from the English Football League.
Belgian Duchatelet has proven to be a dissliked figure since his arrival at The Valley in January 2014 with fans protesting at his ownership.
Failiure to attend games, minimal investment, fan criticism, unpaid bonuses, multiple managerial changes, rumoured interference in team selection, and player sales have all contributed to fans voicing their ill-feelings towards Duchatelet.
Friday morning's announcement caused the club wesite to crash due to heavy traffic by delirious Addicks fans.
Many of which took to social media to share their happyness.
We will be on such a high, we could pick 11 from the east stand and win on Saturday.
