Here's how the Crystal Palace players rated in their 2-1 win over West Ham.

Vicente Guatia: 7

The Spanish shot-stopper had a busy first half and made three saves including two close-range blocks from Sebastian Haller to keep the game scoreless. Arguably he should have done better with the goal but overall he did well.

Joel Ward:6

He let Felipe Anderson get into dangerous areas on a couple of occasions but luckily for the defender the Brazillian couldn't threaten Guaita. In the second half he had a fairly quiet game.

Martin Kelly: 6

A solid display alongside Gary Cahill in the first half. He made a number of runs down the flank and created another option for Palace on the right while Cahill held down the fort.

Gary Cahill: 7

The former England international defender looked comfortable at the back as always and put in a solid shift as he drove Palace forward from the back and steadied the ship.

Patrick van Aanholt: 6

He was constantly in the right places at the right times but his passing in and around the box in the first half was poor. The Dutchman did help his case in the second half though as he placed a penalty into the net to bring Palace back to level pegging.

Wilfried Zaha: 7

Although the winger had moments when he looked lacklustre, as always he proved that you can never write him out of the game. The fan-favourite shimmied his way past Aaron Cresswell to set up Jeffrey Schlupp in what was arguably the highlight of the first half.

Cheikhou Kouyate: 6

The former West Ham did very little in the first half and looked clumsy at times but came back in the second half to haunt his former team as he volleyed the ball against the arm of Declan Rice for the penalty.

James McArthur: 6

The midfielder did well tracking back and retrieved the ball for his side on a couple of occasions. Overall he had a fairly quiet game but defended well.

James McCarthy: 7

The two James’ looked good alongside each other and McCarthy played with high intensity from kick-off as he shut down the Hammers all over the pitch and forced Roberto into a save with a good 30-yard shot in the first half.

Jeffery Schlupp: 6

Similar to Van Aanholt he was quite often in the right places at the right time but failed to make the most of it. He was on the end of Zaha’s dazzling piece of skill in the first half and should have put his side 1-0 up.

Jordan Ayew: 6

The striker was another player who was lacklustre in the first half as he often found himself drifting out of the game at periods during the first half before securing the win for Palace with three minutes left to play.

Subs:

Andros Townsend:7

The winger came on to create the second goal in his short cameo with a great cross.

Christian Benteke: N/A

Was not on for long.
