Ruel Sotiriou was on target for Cyprus under-21s last night in their UEFA Euro under-21 qualifying match against the Netherlands.
The Leyton Orient youngster opened the scoring in a game that Cyprus eventually went on to lose 5-1 after goals from Teun Koopmeiners, Dani de Wit, Kaj Sierhuis and Deyovaisio Zeefuik.
This was Cyprus’ third qualification game having lost 2-1 against Norway on Friday and beaten Gibraltar 1-0 in their opener back in March
