Here's how we rated Crystal Palace's shock win at Manchester United.

Vivente Guaita - 7 - Despite United having lots of attempts at goal, very few of them were on target. He was a spectator at times because of the hosts' profligacy in front of goal.

Joel Ward - 8 - Palace fans were fearing the worst when he went down with a problem early on but he recovered from it and performed admirably.

Gary Cahill - 8 - Was booked for bringing down Anthony Martial when United looked poised to grab an equaliser. A good debut otherwise.

Martin Kelly - 8 - Gave the ball away in a dangerous area but made up for the errant pass with a vital interception or two.

Patrick van Aanholt - 9 - Made two crucial blocks to deny Daniel James towards goal and scored the winner.

Luka Milivojevic (c) - 7 - Took some fouls for the team, getting clipped quite often, and that helped to stymie United really well. A tough job done well.

Cheikhou Kouyate - 8 - Like the rest of the United team, Paul Pogba and Scott McTominay struggled with Palace's strength and physicality - and Kouyate was no different. He was hustling and bustling throughout midfield. Replaced with James McCarthy.

James McArthur - 7 - Formed part of a strong unit in the middle of the park alongside Milivojevic, while Kouyate played the role of enforcer further up the pitch.

Jeffrey Schlupp - 7 - He made Palace's goal come out of nowhere by winning the ball brilliantly against Lindelof in the air. Was the visitors' bright spark going forward as well down the left against former team-mate Aaron Wan Bissaka. Replaced with Andros Townsend.

Wilfried Zaha - 8 - The talisman was shackled brilliantly against Sheffield United but Man United couldn't handle him at times. Should have scored the second at close-range, but he made a fool out of Ashley Young - again - with his clever trickery.Hisd tracking back was vital.

Jordan Ayew - 9 - Palace's man of the match in the first half. He was wasteful with the ball to begin with but United struggled to deal with his physicality, winning fouls up the pitch and halting their momentum. Substituted for Benteke. Man of the match.
