Crystal Palace skipper Luka Milivojevic has cast doubt over his Eagles future.

With a year left on his Selhurst Park deal, the 28-year-old has revealed he’s unsure of where his future lies indicating a new challenge may be needed.

It was rumoured that some of Europe’s elite were interested in the Serbian in January but no known suitors came forward this summer.

"Yeah I would like to stay, but we will see what will happen," he told BBC Sport.

"It will be hard this season, we have to see how the season will start.

“At the moment we have some issues with players with injuries, I don't expect honestly an easy start but we will see.”

The comments from Palace’s top scorer from the last two seasons will have done little to ease fans’ worries over his happiness at the club, citing the disappointing transfer window as reason to be fearful for the season ahead.

“For me as a captain it is very hard to give some comment about the lack of signings,” he continued.

"Of course I have my opinion but it is hard to say my opinion in public, because that is something for the people within the club.

“That is their job, their responsibility and I am the player in the team and I try to do my best with the players we have.

“I am so happy to see Wilfried Zaha today, he is back.

“I hope when we are all fit we have a good squad."

Crystal Palace start their season at home against Everton this Saturday.
