Crystal Palace have confirmed the signing of Spanish midfielder Victor Camarasa on a one-year loan deal from La Liga side Real Betis.
The deal includes the option of buying the 25-year old at the end of this season.
Camarasa spent last season on-loan at Cardiff City, providing a rare positive in a campaign that saw them relegated.
Five goals and four assists in 33 outings was enough to give the Spaniard the club's Player's Player and Goal of the Season awards at the Bluebirds and it's thought manager Neil Warnock gave the Eagles a glowing reference of the midfielder.
"I am very happy to be here, and I’m so excited to start with the group," Camarasa told CPFC.
"I think Palace has great players and it is a great club.
"I’m going to work hard to play football, and I hope that the fans are excited with my football.”
The Spaniard is Roy Hodgson's third significant signing of the summer after the arrival of defender Gary Cahill and forward Jordan Ayew.
