The club superstore at Leyton Orient will be shut “for a few weeks” from Friday, May 31 as it undergoes refurbishment.

The work will see the superstore redeveloped and bring in significant improvements in the retail range ready for the release of the club’s New Balance replica kits for the 2019/20 season.

Speaking to the Leyton Orient website, club retail manager Jade Philip said: “We have been working behind the scenes to bring an exciting new range of New Balance branded replica kits, training wear and leisurewear. For the first time, this will include a baby and toddler kit range and female-sized replica shirts.

“Furthermore, over the next few weeks, we will have an exciting re-fit of the club’s superstore which will allow us to predominantly display our much-expanded range of exclusive merchandise, including never-before-seen items and an extensive pocket money range.

“In addition to the revamped store, a new website will be launched at the same time to improve the customer’s online experience as part of the club’s digital transformation.”

Club CEO Danny Macklin also told the website: “We are excited at the prospect of catering for every Leyton Orient fan – young or old. As an independently-operated store, every penny will now go towards the club, further enhancing the playing budget and fan experience.”
