Justin Edinburgh’s says Leyton Orient will be “totally focussing” on their final game of the season that will more than likely see them clinch the National League title.

Orient drew 0-0 away at Solihull Moors today but a loss for Salford City in their game at home to AFC Fylde means the O’s sit three points clear and with a healthier goal difference going into the final day, which

After the game, Edinburgh said: “We’ll rest tomorrow and then we’ll be back in on Wednesday, totally focussing on getting prepared for the final game.

“This is a good group, they manage themselves and we’ve got a job to do. It’s still all to play for and we’ve got to get the result that captures what we want. The fans have been magnificent all year, I’m pleased for the but we’ve still got one more step to do.”

The O’s come up against already-relegated Braintree at the Breyer Group Stadium this Saturday, while Salford travel to Hartlepool United, and Edinburgh is all too aware of the threat their opponents pose, despite knowing they will be playing in a lower division next season.

He said: “We said today that we would be focussed on what we can control and that was here. We only knew [about the Salford result] right at the end when the fans made us aware.

“It’s a big result and it sets us up but we’ve still got to keep our eye on the prize. We’re going to play an in-form team again in Braintree. I think they’ve won three on bounce now but we’ve given ourselves a great opportunity and I’m delighted for the supporters and for everyone connected with the football club.”
