It may be April Fools Day but reports from Manchester are snowballing that the red half of the city will look to swoop on two of Crystal Palace’s star men.
New Manager Ole Gunnar Solkjaer has allegedly been given the green light to embark on a £100million+ attempt to land Wilfried Zaha and Aaron Wan-Bissaka.
It’s thought the Norwegian is keen to be re-united with Zaha who he worked with during his brief spell at Cardiff City.
One man who thinks the move is a no-brainer is former Palace boss Ian Holloway.
"This is the most talented player of those with whom I worked,” he told talkSPORT.
"If United want to go 4-4-2, they should definitely sign him."
Whether Zaha would want to return to the club where his career stalled is one thing, as is the rumoured fee of around £65million.
Both Zaha and Wan-Bissaka were in action in Palace's 2-0 win that relegated Huddersfield on Saturday.
AWB
Wan-Bissaka’s meteoric rise has seen him linked with a host of clubs and it seems the Red Devils will throw their clout into the bidding war in the summer with Ashely Young and Antonio Valencia both the wrong side of 30.
Needless to say the Palace fans have scoffed at the rumours as well as the touted £35million transfer fee for the 21-year-old.
Lets be serious though, if van Dijk was £70mil+ when he was at Southampton then AWB should be atleast £60mil #CPFC https://t.co/KNHaLHpBkN

£35m a leg, perhaps. And then another £20m for his body, and £50m for his brains and ability. https://t.co/l6c8nlnMZA

AWB is a phenomenal talent. His time with us will be limited so let's enjoy him while we can #cpfc
