Millwall's Ryan Leonard hopes to add to the memory of their fourth-round win over Everton.

The unforgettable 4-3 win over their Premier League opponents is still fresh in the mind of the midfielder and he expects Sunday's FA Cup quarter-final to create such a lasting image.

Standing in the way of a semi-final and a trip to Wembley are Christ Hughton's Brighton, and the 26-year-old expects The Den faithful to produce another magical atmosphere.

“I said after the Everton game, it was probably one of the highlights of my career," said Leonard.

“The way the game went and the magnitude of it, it is going to be exactly the same on Sunday.

“I remember after 25 minutes into the Everton game, looking around to someone and saying ‘Jesus’- it was going off.

“If we can recreate anything like that and get the fans behind us, which is the most important thing, then we can create the right atmosphere and give us a right chance.

“Games on Sunday are going to be one where I come here and think, wow what an occasion this is going to be.

“If it is anything like the Everton game a couple of rounds ago then it is going to be one hell of a game.

“As players, we have to go out there and live as the underdogs and give it a right go to see what we can do.”
