Premier League leaders Liverpool expressed their thanks to Leyton Orient for hosting them prior to their important clash with West Ham United tonight.
The Reds tweeted a picture of Orient’s ground, along with text reading: “Final matchday preparations at the Breyer Group Stadium. Thanks to Leyton Orient FC for the hospitality.”
It’s unclear whether the Reds used the O’s pitch to train or whether they were just making use of the facilities prior to taking on the Hammers at the London Stadium.
It’s reported that the visit came about as Orient owner Nigel Travis is a friend and business associate of Liverpool owner John W Henry, the figurehead behind Fenway Sports Group in Boston.
