Player ratings from Charlton’s 3-0 win over Shrewsbury:
Dillon Phillips - 8 - Came to Charlton’s rescue twice in the first-half. He can’t have done his chances of keeping that no1 shirt any harm following Chris Maxwell’s arrival from Preston.
Chris Solly - 7 - Another faultless display by Charlton’s longest-serving player. His winger never beat him - how many times have we typed that?
Patrick Bauer - 7 - Led by example in the absence of injured skipper Jason Pearce. Didn't put a foot wrong.
Naby Sarr - 8 - One of his best displays in an Addicks shirt. He was aggressive and kept Shrewsbury’s front two quiet.
Ben Purrington - 6 - A solid debut from the Rotherham loanee, who looked calm and assured in Charlton’s defence.
Krystian Bielik - 7 - Broke up play and distributed the ball very well.
Darren Pratley - 7 - Scored his third goal for the club in some style with a thunderous strike. One of his better displays today.
Albie Morgan - 6 - His set-pieces were very good - apart from one. Outmuscled in midfield at times, though. Subbed off just before the hour mark.
Jonny Williams - 7 - An impressive full debut for the former Crystal Palace man. His cross led to Charlton’s second goal. Used the ball very smartly in the final third.
Karlan Grant - 8 - Missed three one-on-ones but showed confidence to convert the penalty which he won late on.
Lyle Taylor - 9 - Never stopped running and his hold-up play was phenomenal. A goal and assist for Charlton’s talisman, who has found the net 15 times this season.
Subs:
George Lapslie - 6
Mark Marshall - 6
Anfernee Dijksteel - N/A
