Joe Aribo could be next in a long-line of exoduses at Charlton after rumours circulated he's unhappy with how contract negotiations have gone at the troubled club.

Sources reveal that Aribo is unwilling to sign a new deal at The Valley after the handling of the summer negotiations.

It is said Charlton offered Aribo an improved deal five months ago only to withdraw it and offer a new deal with half the money on offer.

Charlton have since offered Aribo an improved deal but it's thought the 22-year-old is favouring a move to Germany.

He is free to negotiate a pre-contract agreement in Europe in January with just six-months left on his current Charlton deal.

The midfielder who joined Charlton from Staines in 2015 has grown in to one of England's hottest prospects after impressing this season under Lee Bowyer's tutelage.

It is thought Aribo is prepared to turn down offers from Tottenham, Chelsea and Derby County who are all interested in the Camberwell man to seek a move to the Bundesliga with Frankfurt and Hoffenheim both keen on his signature.

A move away from The Valley would be seen as a huge blow to their promotion prospects with Aribo a regular in Bowyer's side as they sit firmly in the play-off spots.
