Crystal Palace continue to be linked with players as the January transfer window approaches.

Here are the latest rumours:

Jermain Defoe

The 36-year-old is a proven goal-scorer but has found game-time hard to come-by at Bournemouth. With Calum Wilson leading Eddie Howe’s side superbly and Ryan Fraser, Josh King and David Brooks all chipping in with goals The Cherries would be open to get a £50k a week earner off their books.

Possibility: 9/10

Fernando Llorente

To get the Spaniard would be a major coup. However, he is keen to get more minutes under his belt and a move across London isn’t too far-fetched. With Heung-Min Son utilised as a forward before the former Swansea man, he could well see his time at Tottenham wasted.

Possibility: 6/10

Chris Wood

The Burnley man leads the line well for Sean Dyche’s side but he’s been in and out of the starting XI this season. Money would need to be spent to land the Kiwi but the forward would provide real competition, cover or even usurp the injured Christian Benteke up front.

Possibility: 5/10

Charlie Austin

The former Burnley man is always capable of popping up with the odd goal. He's getting increasingly frustrated at Southampton finding it difficult to get a run of games with Danny Ings, Manolo Gabbiadini and more recently Stuart Armstrong taken the central striker role. Unlikely to trouble Benteke in re-gaining his spot but would offer Roy Hodgson a solution up front with Alexander Sorloth and Jordan Ayew not filling him with confidence. He would love Selhurst Park-life!

Possibility: 5/10

Divock Origi

The rumour that’s circulating is that Origi is keen to get out of Anfield in January. The promising Belgian is some-way down the pecking order under Klopp despite being rated highly. His winner in the Merseyside derby shows he has a knack to get in the right place to put the ball in the onion-bag, something Palace have been missing this season.

Possibility: 7/10

And:-

Yaya Toure

Having recently been released from his contract with Olympiakos it is thought the former Manchester City icon is keen to return to the Premier League. Telling, his family are based in London and it is thought he would be returning for that reason, not for the money since he turned down improved offers to play in China. West Ham are keen on the Ivorian but if, as speculated, they hand Samir Nasri a contract on the £80k a week that’s been touted, would they be able to match that for Toure?

Needless to say Hodgson would surely welcome the experience, winning mentality and quality the ageing league winner has.

Possibility: 6/10
