His crowning moment was undoubtedly his winning header in the 2-1 win at Burton at the end of November.
Pearce's inspirational performance at Burton capped a fantastic month for the Addicks as they won all four league games, so much so it earned him a Sky Bet League One Player of the Month nomination.

The 30-year-old who commands the back-line with authority has earned rave-reviews from his manager who labelled him ‘a warrior.’
“He’s a leader and that’s why he’s our captain,” Bowyer said after the Burton game.
With a busy fixture list Bowyer has kept his key centre-back for league duties alone, and he’ll be hoping his early season injury will be the only one of the campaign as they target promotion.
The former Leeds and Portsmouth man has proven his worth to the Addicks since his arrival from Wigan on a free transfer in 2016.
