The central midfielder has been vital to Millwall since his arrival from MK Dons in January 2014. Having played an integral role in the Lions promotion winning season and last season’s 8th placed finish, the 32-year-old became a key cog in Harris's machine.

However, Shaun Williams seems to be a player who is ageing quickly, he looks to have lost a yard of pace and his awareness levels are dipping.

He has not been dictating play for the Lions like he usually does and his ball retention has been near to awful.

With that being said Williams still finds himself being the Lions second top goal scorer with five goals. The most recent was a crucial volley against Bristol City which salvaged a vital point away from home.
