Millwall travel to second place Norwich on Saturday looking for their first win on the road this season.

Having picked up just two points on their travels from a possible 24, Daniel Farke’s side will be heavy favourites ahead of the clash.

Sitting 19th in the Championship Neil Harris will be looking to change his away day fortunes similar to how he changed his home fortunes where he’s won his last three matches in a recent revival.

The odds are against the Lions and rightly so.

Norwich are the in-form side of the Championship with four impressive leagues scalps in their last four fixtures, and eight wins in their last ten.

Their latest victory, a 4-0 thumping of Sheffield Wednesday at Hillsborough, has no doubt fuelled promotion talks in Norfolk.

The previous fixture in January saw Norwich eek out a 2-1 win at Carrow Road but Harris will be buoyed by the fact they are beatable.

Conceding on average over a goal a game, Norwich have been beaten at home three times this season. Granted they are by teams with high aspirations in West Brom, Leeds and Stoke, but Harris will know if he can replicate his home form his side are capable of upsetting the bookies.

To do so he will be hoping for a much-improved display in the 2-0 defeat at Brentford. Two second half goals gave the Bees the victory they fully deserved without the Lions ever posing a threat.

Speaking to Millwall FC Official website following the defeat, Harris said:

“We have a style of play, but we didn’t show enough composure or quality.

“When you give poor goals away from home it kills you.

“But, we’ll pick ourselves up for another tough game at Norwich.

“We’re disappointed but the group has come a long way in the last six weeks and we want to keep improving.”

Harris often uses the phrase ‘underdogs and overachievers’ to describe his side in the Championship, and he’ll be hoping those words ring true on Saturday. Well, half of it is certainly correct going in to the game at Carrow Road.…..
