Leyton Orient will travel to Maidstone United in the fourth qualifying round of the FA Cup.

Orient have enjoyed a strong start to the season under Justin Edinburgh and have fond memories of playing at the Gallagher Stadium, having beaten Maidstone 2-1 away from home in August thanks to goals from Josh Koroma as well as Marvin Ekpiteta.

Since that meeting, former Billericay Town boss Harry Wheeler has replaced Jay Saunders in the dugout, after the latter was sacked after seven years in charge of the Stones, following a tough start to the season which saw them pick up just seven points from their opening seven games.

Wheeler has won two of his first five matches in charge of the club and the Kent side currently sit in 19th place in the National League after their three game unbeaten run was brought to an end by Bromley at the weekend.

Orient, meanwhile, are just a point adrift of league leaders Salford City in second place in the table, after they returned to winning ways with a 2-0 victory over Maidenhead United on Saturday thanks to goals from Macauley Bonne and James Alabi.

The fourth qualifying round tie between the two sides will be played on Saturday, October 20.
