Crystal Palace would be interested in re-signing Ruben Loftus-Cheek should Chelsea again make him available.
The midfielder excelled under Roy Hodgson while on loan last season to the extent that he made the England squad for the World Cup, but he has since struggled for first-team football at Stamford Bridge.
Gareth Southgate has left him out of his latest England squad as a consequence, and Hodgson said: "We admire him.
"Like a lot of other clubs I'm sure when the day comes when he becomes available for transfer, we will be sticking our noses into that. But whether we will get him again that's another matter.
"He did an outstanding job for us when he came here and really for us answered all the questions that we hoped he would answer."
