Armed police arrested a man in Tolworth in the early hours of Sunday (June 28) after a reported knifepoint robbery.
A number of police vehicles were seen outside Tolworth station after 1am on Sunday in connection to the incident.
A spokesperson for Kingston MPS posted a short statement on Twitter describing what happened in further detail.
They said two 15 year-olds had been robbed at knifepoint in the area, with armed officers from the Met Police arriving soon afterwards.

They subsequently arrested the suspect "nearby", the spokesperson said:
"It's the third & final #nightduty for #ERTA. Another great result at the start of our shift...
"After getting to a #knife point robbery of two 15 yr olds within 8 mins, we located the suspect nearby with the help of @MPSFirearms officers and have #arrested him for #robbery."
