In a statement about the raid posted on Twitter, Surrey Police officers from the Runnymede area were said to have conducted the raid on Medlake Road under the Misuse of Drugs Act following feedback from residents.
A spokesperson for the Runnymede Police said:
"Officers executed a Misuse Of Drugs Act warrant in Medlake Road Egham this morning.
"Items #SEIZED included, money, drugs, phones, knives and a crossbow!
"We have listened to residents and with @RunnymedeBC have taken the action to help restore some normality."
