A pink rose garden in memory of murdered model Sally Anne Bowman was opened at the Brit School last week.
Ex-Brit School student Sally Anne was remembered by family, friends and current students during a memorial service at the performing arts college in The Crescent, Croydon, last Thursday.
Sally Anne's mum Linda Bowman unveiled a plaque which said: "In loving memory of Sally Anne Bowman. My heart will go on."
Lloyd Marshall, deputy principal at the school, hopes the rose garden will act as a lasting memorial to the 18-year-old model who was stabbed to death and sexually assaulted just yards from her South Croydon home.
He said: "It was very emotional for everybody who attended the service, particularly Sally Anne's family.
"We've always wanted to have a lasting memorial for Sally Anne and having contacted her family we prepared the pink rose garden and the plaque."
