After the opening day defeat involving a high-scoring game at Whitstable, Gravesend enter- tained RACS at the Bat and Ball Ground in Wrotham Road hoping to put that loss behind them.
But despiste a valiant and fine innings from Verinder Bhoombia, who made a superb 77, the hosts were dismissed for just 133. Andy Tutt was the main thorn in the Gravesend side, taking 5-52.
In contrast, the RACS made batting look easy and they reached their modest-looking target for the loss of just one wicket with Dave Thompson unbeaten on 73.
Gravesend, who are propping up the bottom of the Division One table with just seven points after the first two fixtures, travel to the Rectory Field to play Blackheath on Saturday afternoon.
The match starts at 1.30pm.
