A national charity has launched a motor insurance policy in the hope of giving the elderly a better deal.
Age Concern, which has a branch in Church End, Hendon, believes many people seek the cheapest insurance policy without checking the level of cover and service they are buying.
The charity's insurance services department has also compiled key questions which drivers should ask before purchasing a motor policy. They include:
Does your policy include a free 24-hour helpline and will a courtesy car be provided?
If you have to make a claim, how much do you have to pay?
How much no claims discount (NCD) would you lose if you have a claim?
