The hard-hitting former Commonwealth Games' fighter was in action at Wembley Arena where stopped opponent Dave Fallon in his debut pro bout.
Walker, 23, said: "I was absolutely delighted. I caught him with a right hand to put him down and the ref had to stop the fight. It is all the sweeter because he has 16 professional fights under his belt and it was my debut."
Walker, a former ABA champion, forms part of Panos Eliades stable of boxers which includes World heavyweight champion Lennox Lewis.
Walker's next fight is scheduled for the end of the month at The Elephant and Castle on the same bill as Patrick Mullins, who will be fighting for the Commonwealth title. Call 07780 870755 for tickets.
