It's Cooper's scoopers
MICHAEL Miles and Christopher Clark brought more glory to Chislehurst's Cooper's School at the second weekend of the Kent Swimming Championships in Gillingham.
Michael finished first in the senior boys 100m breaststroke and Christopher came a close second in the junior boys breaststroke.
The school had claimed six Kent titles the previous week in Canterbury.
Spot on at Sundridge
A snooker tournament for seniors and juniors proved a great success at
Sundridge Park Working Men's Club when members teamed up with
youngsters in a pairs tournaments.
The winners were member John Gater and junior Stephen Martin, who defeated Ron McCann and Sean Floyd in the final.

Emeka makes his mark
Blackheath Harrier athlete Emeka Udechuku helped the Great Britain U23 team to a 116-113 victory against France U23 at Birmingham's National Indoor Arena. Udechuku threw 16.94m in the shot putt to finish second behind team-mate C Myerscough.
