Research by Kent TEC shows more than a third of the county's firms with a workforce of 50 or more export goods to the continent. And one in five companies, with fewer than 10 employees, have custom-ers in mainland Europe.
Kent TEC's Malcolm Allan said: "We have firms dedicated to developing international trading links, assisted by the close proximity of Europe and a commitment to delivering what their customers want."
