UKIP candidate for St Albans John Stocker has boldly predicted he will win the seat in the General Election on May 6.
He says he will campaign on immigration and "the bureaucracy of Europe", as well as local issues such as Green Belt conservation and affordable housing.
He said: “Since I announced my candidature at the end of last year I have been overwhelmed by the support from the local electorate.
"We are fighting our campaign on the policies of straight talking and common sense, things that have been sadly missing from our politicians over the last decade.
"I am confident that UKIP will win the St Albans Parliamentary constituency.”
