A REVOLUTIONARY ladderless window cleaning system is cutting the risk of industrial accidents and saving clients money.
The system, developed in the USA, is being used by Burke and Clemens Limited. It cleans windows, frames and paintwork up to third, and sometimes fourth floors, with the operator keeping both feet firmly on the ground.
Co-director of Burke and Clemens, Patrick Burke, has been cleaning windows for 18 years. He said: "As soon as I saw a demonstration on an office block I was converted to it.
"It is brilliant at cleaning and there's no need for scaffolding or telehoists."
The system uses de-ionised water, which attracts dirt like a sponge, and needs no chemicals.
