A well-known music promoter has been gunned down on the street in east London.
Witnesses saw the bullet-riddled Peter Oduwole stagger down Hackney Road just before midnight on Sunday.
The 37-year-old, also known as Peter Cosa Nostra, was shot several times while handing out flyers about a show he organised in south London.
He had been visiting venues around Hackney Road from 8.30pm that night.
Mr Oduwole, of Penge in south-London, died minutes after being rushed to the Royal London Hospital.
Detective Chief Inspector Scott Wilson, who leads the inquiry, said the victim was "a well-known and well-respected ... professional within the music promoting business in both London and Europe".
He urged anyone who travelled with Mr Oduwole to east London earlier on Sunday to contact police.
Detectives also asked witnesses who spotted anyone acting suspiciously, or who saw the victim in the hours before his death, to call 020 8733 4704.
