British Telecom was among firms honoured for giving special support to local schools. BT's Roy Huntley received his award from Sir Brian Jenkins, Woolwich PLC, who presented the awards on behalf of Greenwich Education Business Partnership. The awards were presented at Charlton Athletic FC, where children from schools across the borough of Greenwich, responsible for nominating the companies for the awards, helped with the presentation ceremony by reading out the citations.
