HE is known more for hits like Blowing In The Wind and Mr Tambourine Man than for painting pretty pictures.
But fans of singer-songwriter and poet Bob Dylan got the chance to see a weekend-long exhibition of the 68-year-old’s artwork at Bluewater Shopping Centre.
Signed limited edition prints were on display at Castle Galleries and included six originals, which was the first time they had been shown outside of the art store chain’s Bond Street gallery.
One of the originals, Sunflowers, was worth a cool £200,000.
Art advisor at the Bluewater shop, Margaret Parry, said: “The exhibition got a fairly mixed reception. As with all things Dylan, some people love him, some don’t.
“His artwork is like his music, he will use the same image in different ways.
“For example he might use the same image but with a white sky or a dark storm.”
