A DATE with 22-year-old stylist Terri Kierney was the top draw in an auction of promises at The Gallery Salon in Gerrards Cross.
The winning bidder shelled out £500 for the privilege of taking Miss Kierney out - while more than £2,300 was raised for charity by the salon in a pink-themed day of fund raising activities.
Chief stylist Jackie Strevens said: “Terri was very embarrassed that I put her up for auction – she's very pretty and one of our clients bought the date for his son.”
There was also a raffle – with the winner bagging some special edition pink GHD hair straighteners - and a quiz, all in aid of Breakthrough Breast Cancer.
