An animal welfare charity transformed their stall into a soft toy farm yard in protest at animal transport conditions.
Compassion in World Farming set up their stall outside Debenhams in Croydon’s North End on October 2 hoping to persuade the European Commission to impose a limit of eight hours or a distance of 500km on animals transport.
The soft toys were donated by members of the public and will now be distributed to hospitals.
