Two police officers were taken to hospital after the van they were travelling in collided with a bus in Hillingdon this morning.
The police transit van and the bus crashed in Hillingdon Road near Vine Street just before 6.45am.
Paramedics treated the bus driver at the scene but he did not need to be taken to hospital. However, the two officers were taken to Hillingdon Hospital with injuries which are not thought to be life-threatening.
The cause of the accident is currently being investigated by Hillingdon Police.
Hillingdon Road remained closed for around four hours while the scene was cleared up.
