Police have been granted more time to question two men arrested in connection with the fatal stabbing of a teenager.
The 19-year-old victim, understood to be Mauritian and named in reports as Nabil Bakurally, was killed after an altercation with a group of men in the early hours of Saturday in a street in east London.
A second teenager, aged 17, also suffered stab wounds in the incident in High Road, Ilford. He was taken to an east London hospital, where he remains in a serious but stable condition. His injuries are not thought to be life-threatening.
