A McDonald's in the centre of Wimbledon has applied to serve customers 24 hours a day.
The branch at 1–3 The Broadway, Wimbledon, currently has restrictions on late-night service.
Under the proposed changes, the restaurant would be able to serve food and drink both in-store and via takeaway and delivery between 11pm and 5am.
The application, submitted by ILS Operations Limited, would also see the restaurant's official opening hours extended to operate around the clock.
Currently, the branch is subject to restrictions that limit late-night service to delivery and takeaway only.
The full application is available to view by appointment at the Merton Civic Centre.
Anyone wishing to comment on the application must submit their representation in writing to the Licensing Section at the London Borough of Merton and representations must be received by May 12.
The council has warned that it is an offence to knowingly or recklessly make a false statement in connection with an application, with offenders liable to a fine on summary conviction.
The public notice can be viewed in full on the Public Notice Portal.
Further information is available by contacting the Licensing Section at the London Borough of Merton, 2nd Floor, Civic Centre, London Road, Morden, Surrey, SM4 5DX, or by emailing licensing@merton.gov.uk.
