The much anticipated ‘wedding episode’ of Bridgerton series three has landed and a chapel in Greenwich was where it all happened.

Fans watched Penelope Fetherington played by Nicola Coughlan and Colin Bridgerton played by Luke Newton get married on the show in newly released episodes this week.

The pair got married in a stunning floral-covered chapel recognisable as Greenwich’s Chapel of St Peter and St Paul.

The 245-year-old chapel was decorated with pastel coloured flower arches as the couple tied the knot.

This comes after Bridgerton fans spotted Nicola leaving the chapel in February last year, in what fans suspected to be filming for the series in Greenwich.

The second part of series three of the smash-hit period drama landed this week on June 13, following the love stories of the eight Bridgerton siblings set in regency London.

Located within the Old Royal Naval College site, the chapel was originally designed by famed architected Sir Christopher Wren, who famously built St Paul’s Cathedral.

After a fire, the chapel was rebuilt in 1779 by James ‘Athenian’ Stuart.

During the scenes the notable decorated ceilings were visible, along with the striking black and white flooring and neo-classical interiors.

Bridgerton fans can visit the chapel daily from 10am until 5pm, alongside being open for prayer the chapel also hosts regular musical events and recitals which are ticketed.

Greenwich has been a consistent filming location for the series ever since series one, with other locations like The Ranger’s House and The Old Royal Naval College being used to film various scenes throughout the series.
