A woman has been arrested on suspicion of carrying "a large knife" in a residential street.
Police were called to Cadoxton Avenue, in Tottenham, at 8.53pm on Wednesday (May 15) to reports of a woman with a knife.
Officers attended and arrested a woman on suspicion of possession of an offensive weapon.
She has been taken into custody.
Describing the knife as "a large machete", Tottenham Conservatives said on X: "The violence on our streets is becoming relentless. It must be stopped & can be stopped."

"The Conservatives have just voted against banning the sale of ninja swords. It will still be possible to buy them online with barely any checks."
There were no reported injuries.
