Fitness fanatics have the chance to take part in London's highest outdoor Pilates classes this weekend - on top of the O2 Arena.

Up at The O2, the roofwalk attraction at the iconic London landmark, is launching this exhilarating event for the first time to mark Mental Health Awareness Week, which runs from May 13 to May 19.

The new activity is in partnership with YoungMinds, a charity fighting for children and young people's mental health.

The O2 will host the rooftop Pilates classes as part of three extended climbs on Sunday, May 19, with all profits being donated to YoungMinds.

The classes will start at 8.15am, 8.45am, and 9.15am and will be run by an instructor from Exhale Pilates, London’s award-winning studio.

Climbers will enjoy a guided climb over the roof of the world’s leading live entertainment, leisure, and retail destination.

On reaching the summit, a 20-minute Pilates class awaits them - at 52 metres above ground.

Everyone is welcome, from Pilates beginners to experts.

Dan Hurst, head of attractions at Up at The O2 said: "We’re so excited to be celebrating Mental Health Awareness Week on the roof again this year in support of YoungMinds, and this time by bringing a brand-new activity to the sky for our climbers with the launch of Pilates classes.

"It’s the perfect way to kickstart a Sunday feeling strong and refreshed, with incredible views of the London skyline, and supporting a charity who does vital work for young people and families all over the country in the process - what more could you want?"

Tickets for this event are available at £40 per person, the same price as a standard Daytime weekend climb, with all profits donated to YoungMinds.

All climbers must be above 18 years of age.

Pre-booking is essential, and all necessary equipment will be provided.
