A pedestrian has died after being hit by car in north London.
Emergency services were called just after 1am this morning (May 12), to a collision between a car and a pedestrian in Risley Avenue, at the junction with The Roundway, in Wood Green.
Metropolitan Police officers and the London Ambulance Service attended, but despite their best efforts the pedestrian - a man aged in his 40s - was pronounced dead at the scene.
The man's family have been informed and will be supported by specialist officers.
Four men are believed to have been travelling in the car at the time of the collision, Scotland Yard said.
"All have been arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving. They remain in police custody."
Enquiries continue to establish the circumstances.
