It’s no secret that one of the best, natural locations in Harrow is indeed Stanmore. However, there are many hidden gems dotted around this breathtaking town, perfect for locals to discover and tourists to peek at.

1. Bentley Priory
Bentley Priory is a stunning site with a huge house in the middle of green land stretching for miles and, since it was used as an RAF base during WWII, part of the magnificent place is a museum showcasing everything war-related. It also consists of a deer park where you can visit and feed the adorable, doe-eyed animals. Nature, history, animals: sounds like a recipe for a peaceful but stimulating day.
2. Wood Farm
This place consists of an epic range of wildlife and plants. It is an absolutely beautiful farm where you could go out for a walk or bicycle ride, pick some berries, soak in the sun, have a picnic, listen to the calm and birdsong because of just how serene and relaxing it is. The locals are so polite and lovely, hardly anyone is disturbed on their day out, since people come here for a bit of peace and quiet. Because of how big the green space is and the more secluded areas available, taking a moment for yourself, leaning back on a bench and being still for a while is never an issue. Fruit, trees, privacy and peace: what more can anyone ask for?
