Camden Market is an iconic part of London that attracts thousands of tourists each week. It’s known for its great shops, food, music, art and creativity yet there’s so much more to this unique and fantastic place. Despite the occasional crowds and busy areas, Camden can provide a whole day of activities such as a divine lunch at the food market, a wander through all the individual and creative stalls, and some live music or some weird but wonderful shows on the streets. It’s a great experience and here are a few things you can do and explore throughout Camden.

1. Discover the shops and markets

Camden is the home to a variety of vintage shops and stalls that are all different and unique. There are so many things such as posters, vinyl's, clothes, crafts, jewellery and many more stalls that people have personalized to get lost in, and to find new paths of more extraordinary stalls everywhere you turn. So much to look at and so much to see, you most defiantly will be going home with at least a couple of mementos.

2. Learn and listen to the music

Music is a major part of Camden as it has a great history of it. Famous people such as Amy Winehouse grew up here and developed their careers as well as learning to love music. An iconic landmark in Camden (known as Dingwalls) is a big music venue where bands and artists such as Foo Fighters, The Strokes and Noel Gallagher have performed on the stage. Dingwalls dates right back to the 1970s where popular rock bands including The Rolling Stones and Pink Floyd have also played. As of today, music throughout Camden has always stayed and been a part of the town. Anyone can enjoy the beauty of it whilst walking down the street or having a nice meal in the food market.

3. The food markets

Speaking of the food market, Camden has a large place that's filled with foods from all over the world. From cultural cuisines to delightful dishes, it offers so much that you'll spend hours deciding on what to choose from. (Luckily there are many free samples to have a taste beforehand). You certainly can't miss out on this place, however, there are so many more places to eat and taste the culture on your tounge.

I believe that Camden is definitely a place that everyone should visit at least once to experience stepping into a whole new world of colour and creativity.
