POLICE have issued security advice after a recent spate of motorbike thefts in Wrexham.

One such theft occurred at a property in the Rhosnesni area on April 23 at around 2am.

Two men smashed a window of the property's garage to gain entrance before stealing a KTM-125 bike.

He said: "Someone knows where this bike is and is protecting someone who's come equipped to steal, smashing my garage window to gain entry. Absolute scum. I know of several similar thefts of Wrexham over the last week."

On Thursday, North Wales Police's Wrexham Rural team said: "Over the last few days, we have been made aware of motorbikes/mopeds being stolen in the Caego and Gwersyllt areas, with an attempted theft of vehicle in the Coedpoeth area."
