A man has died in hospital following a crash involving a car in East Ham. 

Paramedics from the London Ambulance Service were called to Plashet Grove at 7.49pm on April 22 with reports of a crash. 

London's Air Ambulance was also dispatched alongside a paramedic in a fast response car and an incident response officer.

The first emergency responder arrived within five minutes of the report coming in where they found a man with injuries close to the junction with Katherine Road.

He was taken to a major trauma centre but later died.

The driver of the car involved stopped at the scene of the incident and is assisting the Met with their enquiries.
