London Ambulance Service has issued a statement after a man was stabbed near a park in Eltham.
A 50-year-old man was found injured in Restons Crescent near Parish Park just after 8pm on April 20.
Officers, London Ambulance Service crews and an air ambulance were called to the scene.
An ambulance crew, a paramedic in a fast response car, and an incident response officer also attended.
The man was taken to hospital for treatment where his injuries were assessed as non-life threatening.
No arrests have been made as police enquiries continue.
A spokesperson for London Ambulance Service said: “We were called at 8:01pm on Saturday, 20 April, to reports of a stabbing on Restons Crescent, SE9.
“We sent resources to the scene including ambulance crews, a paramedic in a fast response car, and an incident response officer. We also dispatched a trauma team from London’s Air Ambulance.
“We treated a patient at the scene and took them to a major trauma centre.”
A spokesperson for Metropolitan Police said: “Police were called shortly after 20:00hrs on Saturday, 20 April to reports of a man stabbed in the vicinity of Restons Crescent.
“Officers attended. The victim, a 50-year-old man, was taken to hospital by the London Ambulance Service.
“His injuries are not believed to be life-threatening.
“There have been no arrests and enquiries continue.”
