A stab victim was found with face and hand injuries at a railway station.

The Metropolitan Police say officers were called at around 6pm on Friday (April 19) after an 18-year-old man was seen with knife injuries to his face and hands at Harrow-on-the-Hill train station.

London Ambulance Service sent an ambulance crew and an incident response officer to the site.

Medics treated a man at the scene before taking him to a hospital as a priority.

Police said his condition has since been assessed as not life-threatening or life-changing.

Officers believe the teen was attacked in a nearby park. No arrests have been made so far, but enquiries are ongoing.

Southbound Metropolitan Line trains did not stop at Harrow on the Hill station while police responded to the incident. The station was reopened at around 7.07pm.

Anyone with information on the stabbing has been urged by the police to call them on call 101 citing reference CAD 5992/19 Apr.
